The SmartStokvel™ cycle

Enrolment and payments are open now for the 2028 academic cycle. Choose 3, 6 or 9 monthly contributions, with the final contribution due by 31 October 2027.
The planned 1–14 October review window is for checking reusable stationery. Approved member instructions will state which items may be removed and how any resulting credit is handled.
The current plan is to place a seasonal supplier deposit around 15 October and settle the remaining supplier balance on 1 November. Members will receive the final item allocation and cost details before procurement.
Your enrolment will identify the delivery method and estimated delivery window. Pexpacks will provide order updates as procurement and fulfilment progress.
Transparent cost accounting
How your pack total, fulfilment costs and monthly digital administration fee are allocated.
Freight / delivery, packaging and assembly are separate variable per-pack fulfilment costs included in the current pack estimate. They are excluded from the monthly administration fee and must not be charged twice. The final school list may reduce the pack total; excess contributions are carried forward or refunded under the Constitution.

A shortfall does not disqualify your account: once at least one scheduled monthly stationery contribution is paid (excluding admin fees), the available net balance automatically converts to essential stationery for the 1 November bulk order. Pexpacks will communicate the itemised allocation. Statutory refund rights remain protected.

School grade packs are estimates used to benchmark monthly contributions; the final school list may contain fewer items and reduce the total. SmartStokvel™ is a collective procurement arrangement subject to its Constitution, accepted enrolment terms and applicable law. Group demand may support supplier pricing requests, but estimated prices and savings are not guaranteed until final supplier costs are confirmed.
Between 1 and 14 October, you can compare your child's list against reusable items you still have at home (like scissors, rulers, or math sets) and uncheck up to 25% of the pack. You can apply that credit toward Pexcover book covering or roll it into your 2029 SmartStokvel™ balance.

No. Pexpacks SmartStokvel™ is confidential between members, with lawful identification and data-protection duties. Each parent has a private, isolated digital passbook. The school page shows an aggregate enrolment count and does not display another member's financial details.
Pexpacks SmartStokvel™ is administered by PEXPACKS (PTY) LTD (registration 2026 / 054056 / 07). Its ten-article constitution sets out member rights, contribution rules, refunds, privacy and dispute resolution, subject to applicable South African law.
